Paintball

Paintball has been described by a friend of mine (Matt) as "tag for adults," but I fell it is more like the childhood game that I played that we simply called "Guns". All of my friends and I would go and get all our toy guns and run around "shooting" each other with our playthings, seeing who could eliminate each other first. Others have likened it to "BB gun wars" but a whole lot safer, and in my opinion a whole lot more fun. And to this date, I know of none of the people that played these games with me becoming psycopahtic killers.

The basic paintball gun essentially shoots a 68 caliber gelitan-encased ball of paint. When this ball strikes a hard (or semi-hard) surface, such as your body, it bursts releasing the paint and "marking" that object. There are several types of gameplay in paintball. A few of them include elimination, capture the flag, and scenario games.

Here is a basic rundown of each type of gameplay.

My personal paintball gun is a Kingman Spyder Standard. This is a fine peice of work and has done very well for me. I would post my pictures of my gun here, but as of yet, I don't have any.
